Okay, so you may think after reading the blog that I have gone crazy. First she writes in Portuguese and now in English! Why? So indulge me and let me explain why.
# Reason 1: my Grandmother on my father's side was English. She died 2 years ago but I have learned so much with her throw the years that she is trully an inspiration!
# Reason 2: I don't now if it is because of reason #1 but I have always thought in English. I pray in English, I do my task lists in English (and I do plenty of those) and so on. So, when a few days back I decided to right again on my blog I knew it had to be in English.
# Reason 3: Let's face it, as much proud as I am of being Portuguese, very few in the world know our language, so writting in English makes my blog an International thing!
I decided to come back to my blog after seeing the movie Julie and Julia. It isn't that I believe that I could transform this in a book and I so enjoy my small world, but the notion that maybe there is someone out there who might share with me the same passions and interests and just see where it goes was too much of a feeling to be ignored. So I decided to come back and share with you the things I do, the challenges I face and the loves I carry.
I can say without a question of a doubt that my 3 children are my greatest achievement and the loves of my life. Each one in there special way can make me laugh and cry! We love cooking together and the two youngest are my big helpers! I hope when they are older they will be as proud of me as I am of them.
Besides the three gorgeous boys and their father, I have other loves. I am a Family woman! I have a big, big family with lots of cousins and uncles and that is very good! I also love crafting. Yes, I admit it, I am quite addicted. The big, big problem is that I like to do so many different things! I love papers, always have (my mother says that in another life I must have been a paper producer!!!) so I love beautiful wrapping, scrapbooking and cardmaking. But then I also love fabric. So whenever I can get my hand in a new fat quarter I am there! I have begun patchworking a year ago and I am preparing to make my first quilt to a very special baby: my first and so far only niece! My youngest brother also passed me the knitting bug, so whenever there is a movie on TV or I am travelling by train (and even by car if not driving) I knit. Only scarves by now but I will get to more complicated things!
So enough talking! If you are a first visitor, welcome. If you are a returning one, welcome back! I hope you will enjoy the visit!
